Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality medical care under the supervision of a physician, assisting in the diagnosis and treatment of patients across various settings. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Duties
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical histories and physical examinations.
- Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient needs and medical guidelines.
- Perform diagnostic procedures and interpret results to aid in patient management.
- Provide emergency medicine support as needed, including triage and stabilization of patients.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals in managing patient care.
- Engage in research activities to contribute to the advancement of medical knowledge and practices.
- Maintain accurate patient records, ensuring data management complies with regulatory standards.
- Educate patients on health maintenance, disease prevention, and treatment options.
- Participate in occupational health assessments and provide care for work-related injuries or illnesses.
- Stay informed about current trends in infectious disease care and primary care practices.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
- Current certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
- Valid state licensure to practice as a Physician Assistant.
- Experience or training in emergency medicine, primary care, or occupational health is preferred.
- Strong skills in coding for medical billing purposes are advantageous.
- Proficient in data management systems for effective record keeping.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team members.
- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively while providing compassionate care.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $112,884.00 – $115,949.00 per year
Expected hours: 20 per week
