Position purpose

The Clinic Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner will report to the Clinic Medical Director and or their Supervising Provider and will work closely with the Clinical Services Manager. The Clinic Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner will work independently at their assigned Clinic.

Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks

  • Provide services, as scheduled, at any of the three WorkWell Clinics (Coraopolis, Monroeville and Seven Fields, PA)
  • Establishes consistent patient care management and monitors appropriate level of care for patients in accordance with the WorkWell Model and Client instructions
  • Calls Employer Contact following employee treatment after initial injury and/or at any significant change in status.
  • Discussion with Clinic Medical Director and or Supervising Physician to ensure treatment is consistent with medical and professional standards of care.
  • Difficult and complex cases
  • Completes all medical record documentation prior to end of shift.
  • Leadership within the clinic.
  • Clear understanding of OSHA Recordability
  • Provide Physicals and additional Ancillary Testing per Employer Protocol

Qualifications

  • Two years of experience in primary care, occupational medicine, urgent care, or in an emergency medicine setting is preferred
  • Board Certification / Eligibility highly preferred
  • Occupational Medicine experience preferred, but we are willing to train otherwise qualified candidates in this area of medicine
  • Licensure requirements of the state of jurisdiction
  • Graduate of accredited PA or C.R.N.P. Program of accredited university
  • Unrestricted DEA license for state of jurisdiction
  • DOT Certification preferred or must obtain
  • Strong Decision Maker

Pay: $75.00 per hour
