Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will assist in providing medical care under the supervision of physicians and other healthcare professionals.
Duties– Perform patient assessments and provide appropriate medical treatment- Assist in surgical procedures including suturing- Utilize electronic health record systems for patient documentation- Implement infection control measures to ensure patient safety- Collaborate with the healthcare team in hospital and critical care settings- Participate in telehealth consultations with patients- Assist in discharge planning and patient education- Conduct medical research and contribute to evidence-based practice- Apply physiology knowledge to diagnose and treat patients
Qualifications– Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program- Possess DME (Durable Medical Equipment) knowledge and skills- Proficiency in suturing techniques- Familiarity with electronic health record systems- Experience in infection control practices- Previous work in hospital or critical care environments is advantageous- Ability to engage in telehealth services- Strong skills in discharge planning and patient education- Interest or experience in medical research- Solid understanding of human physiology
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $119,212.00 – $130,000.00 per year
