Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team and play a pivotal role in establishing an office aimed at serving individuals who need physical examinations. Duties & Responsibilities:
– Provide direct patient care, perform physical exams, order tests, determine diagnoses, and develop treatment plans for patients.
– Monitor patients’ health during follow-up visits and adjust treatment plans as needed.
– Administer vaccines, medications, and issue appropriate prescriptions.
– Discuss symptoms with patients and perform thorough examinations.
– Treat minor injuries and illnesses.
– Communicate with patients on appointment scheduling and treatment progress.
– Keep thorough records of all patient examinations, diagnoses, and treatments.
– Assess patients’ health and their demands, aiming to fulfill them as well as possible.
– Acquire and review patient histories, identifying abnormal conditions.
– Monitor patients’ progress and keep records of treatments, surgeries, or other medical events.
– Prepare patients for examinations and conduct routine procedures (measure blood pressure and temperature, administer injections, etc.).
– Provide therapeutic treatments (disinfecting wounds, stitching, etc.).
– Cultivate a climate of trust and compassion for patients.
– Comply strictly with medical care regulations and safety standards.
– Collaborate effectively with team members of various specializations.
– Promote and maintain patient health by providing medical services under the supervision of a physician.
– Contribute to a physician’s efficiency by identifying short-term and long-range patient care issues.
– Recommend options and courses of action for patient care.
– Implement physician directives.
– Instruct and counsel patients by providing normal growth and development information and counseling on emotional problems of daily living.
– Provide a community of care by developing and implementing patient-management plans.
– Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
– Protect patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols.
– Comply with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating future legislation; and enforcing adherence to requirements and advising management on needed actions.
– Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
– Develop healthcare team staff by providing information, educational opportunities, and experimental growth opportunities.

Requirements and Qualifications:
– Must be PANCE (Physician Assistant National Certifying Examination) certified through the NCCPA (National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants).
– 1+ years of experience in a healthcare environment preferred.
– Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
– Strong sense of compassion and personal ethics.
– Ability to work efficiently and independently.
– Proven work experience as a Physician Assistant or Nurse.
– Knowledge of medical guidelines and procedures regarding examination, therapy, and recovery.
– Familiarity with advancements in medical technology and current know-how.
– Problem-solving skills and ability to multi-task.
– Caring and compassionate team player with good communication skills.
– BSc/MA in Physician Assistant Studies, Health Science, or Medical Science.
– State license.
– BLS certification.
– National Provider Identifier (NPI).
