Independent Physicians Medical Center is looking for a nurse practitioner or physician assistant who is experienced and dedicated to join our team. As the on-site provider, the ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care, allowing us to offer a wider range of services, including providing same-day sick visits to patients from the Pinnacle Physician Group and covering injection studies. This role is crucial to improving our patient care capabilities and ensuring safety during procedures that require medical oversight.Key Responsibilities: • Oversee contrast injections for radiological exams, ensuring protocols are followed for patient safety. • Monitor patients for adverse reactions to contrast material and provide immediate medical intervention as needed. • Conduct same-day sick visits for patients referred by Pinnacle Physician Group doctors, offering urgent care-like services within our facility. • Collaborate with radiologists, primary care physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a cohesive and comprehensive approach to patient care. • Maintain detailed patient records, ensuring accurate documentation of treatments, interventions, and outcomes. • Stay informed on the latest developments and best practices in radiology and urgent care to improve patient care quality continuously. • Provide patient education on procedures, medications, and health maintenance.Qualifications: • Current license as a nurse practitioner or physician assistant in Pennsylvania. • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a related healthcare setting, with prior experience in radiology or urgent care preferred. • Exceptional clinical skills, including managing and providing urgent care services. • Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, family members, and a multidisciplinary healthcare team. • Commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate care to patients. • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.We Offer: • A competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package. • A supportive and collaborative work environment. • Opportunities for professional development and continuing education. • The chance to significantly impact patient care and safety in a radiology setting.
