Potential Role Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 Psychiatric Medication management; evaluations and psychiatric assessments
- To work collaboratively with practice owners, Clinicians, Medical team, and collaborating physicians, and keep notes/charts up to date.
- A positive work-life balance
· Apply appropriate evaluation techniques to determine the appropriate type of treatment for each client.
· Develop a wide range of treatment plans, as appropriate to clinical data and impressions.
· Documents therapy in accordance with policies and procedures regarding medical records; implements and adheres to policies which ensure patient confidentiality.
· Teach clients stress management techniques as appropriate to their treatment.
· Maintain treatment records consistently and in a timely fashion.
· Consult with referring therapists and medical team at Ambler Counseling regarding clients as necessary.
· Refer clients to holistic therapists at Ambler Counseling as an adjunct to psychotherapy/ nutritional counseling as necessary.
· Be able to work with a team in a holistic practice.
· Adapt to new and exciting opportunities in a growing practice.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required
· Knowledge of accreditation and licensure requirements and standards.
· Ability to analyze medical records and identified policies and procedures to formulate effective therapeutic treatment plans.
· Ability to use independent judgment and to manage and impart confidential information.
· Ability to design and implement appropriate treatment plans.
· Skill in preparing and maintaining patient records.
· Flexibility and independence in schedule creation and availability.
· Competence in areas of identified specialization or relevant training specific to modalities utilized.
- Qualifications:
- Completed an accredited PA program with a national certification
- Board Certification required
- Psychiatric Experience Required
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $100.00 – $130.00 per hour
