Nurse Practitioner Job Description
Job OverviewWe are seeking a Part Time Nurse Practitioner to assist with office visit services and performing minor injections. The candidate will provide assistance with medication management for chronic pain patients and see new patients and follow up patients from surgical procedures with independence. The candidate will also assist in the on-site ambulatory surgical center with administrative duties.
Duties
- Evaluation and management services
- Minor office injections
- Interpreting diagnostic studies such as MRI , CT etc.
- Prescription refills
- Ordering Urine drug screens and interpreting screens
- Referral to other specialties as needed
- Assisting with patient care in the surgical center (pre and post operative roles)
- Providing monthly education to staff and assistance with regulatory requirements of the surgical center
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $70,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 16 – 24 per week
