We’re looking for an experienced Dental Assistant with current X-ray certification to join our growing practice and support our mission of delivering high-quality dental care.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
- Take and develop digital dental radiographs (X-rays)
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms according to OSHA and infection-control guidelines
- Manage patient flow to ensure efficient scheduling and minimal wait times
- Document patient care in digital records accurately and efficiently
- Provide excellent chairside manner and patient education
- Support front office staff as needed (scheduling, patient communication, etc.)
Qualifications
- Current X-ray certification (required)
- Minimum 2 years of dental assisting experience (preferred)
- Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and instruments
- Experience with dental software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Open Dental) a plus
- Current CPR certification
- Strong communication skills and a professional, compassionate demeanor
