Barton Associates is working with a client to fill a locum tenens Family Practice Physician Assistant position in a hospital setting. This opportunity offers a chance to provide comprehensive primary care services in a structured hospital environment.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Provide general primary care services
- Manage chronic health problems
- Treat sudden illnesses and injuries
- Conduct patient examinations and assessments
- Develop and implement treatment plans
- Prescribe medications as appropriate
- Provide patient education on health maintenance and disease prevention
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records using Epic EMR system
The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing a diverse range of primary care cases and be proficient in using Epic EMR.
