Overview:Our client, a reputable Podiatry & Orthopedic Surgery Center in Portland, OR 97229, is seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Physician Assistant to join their team. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity to provide high-quality care to patients in a dynamic outpatient setting, specializing in spine and musculoskeletal conditions. You will play a critical role in helping patients manage their conditions and improve their quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct patient assessments, including reviewing medical histories and performing physical exams, to diagnose and manage spine and musculoskeletal conditions.
  • Assist in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, focusing on non-surgical and minimally invasive interventions.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as imaging and lab work to guide clinical decisions.
  • Educate patients on treatment options, medications, and rehabilitation plans.
  • Collaborate with physicians, physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and thorough patient records in compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Participate in clinic operations, including preoperative and postoperative care as required.

Qualifications:

  • Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
  • Active Physician Assistant license in the state of OR.
  • Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
  • Minimum of 3+ years of clinical experience, preferably in Podiatry & orthopedics.
  • Strong diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Pay: $128,564.00 – $143,002.00 per year
