KEY RESPONSIBILITIES –
Performed majority of the time:
- Performs and documents assessments and data collection in an ongoing, timely, accurate, concise and systematic manner.
- Provides professional service to patients in the urgent care clinic.
- Delegates and coordinates tasks and duties of the healthcare team.
- Promotes accident prevention and reports potential safety hazards.
- Renders all services promptly and diligently in accordance with professional and ethical standards of the medical community in which the nurse practitioner practices.
Performed occasionally but critical to successful performance of the job:
- Adapts care to accommodate unexpected changes in patient status.
Decision making and budget responsibilities (e.g. impact limited to the employee, entire unit or organization-wide):
- Impact limited to employee.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
Education:
Required
- Graduate from a Physician Assistant training program.

Licenses, Certifications and/or Registrations:
Required
- Current Oregon Board of Medical Examiners, unlimited Physician Assistant License.
- Fulfills requirements of hospital medical staff credentialing process.
- Maintains active staff membership in good standing with the medical staff of the hospital with all privileges and responsibilities accorded such membership.
