About Lonerock Clinic:
Lonerock Clinic is a growing, integrative medical practice serving the Eugene-Springfield community with a focus on compassionate, patient-centered care. We offer a wide range of services including primary care, mental health support, ketamine therapy, hormone therapy, and telemedicine. We are currently seeking a Physician Assistant (PA-C) with a focus in psychiatry and medication management to join our collaborative care team.
Position Summary:
Responsible for providing outpatient psychiatric care, including comprehensive psychiatric assessments, diagnosis, treatment planning, and medication management for adult patients. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in mental health, a collaborative approach to care, and experience or interest in working with patients receiving ketamine or Spravato therapy.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct psychiatric evaluations and follow-up visits
  • Diagnose and treat a range of mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety, PTSD, ADHD, and bipolar disorder
  • Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications, including monitoring for efficacy, side effects, and adherence
  • Collaborate with Lonerock Clinic’s providers, therapists, and support staff to ensure coordinated and holistic care
  • Provide patient education on medications, treatment plans, and mental health conditions
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with clinic policies and regulatory standards
  • Participate in case conferences and ongoing clinical education
Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program with current PA-C certification
  • Licensed (or license-eligible) to practice in the state of Oregon
  • DEA license with authorization to prescribe Schedule II-V medications
  • Experience in psychiatry or mental health preferred; new graduates with strong interest in mental health are also encouraged to apply
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable working independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team
Preferred Experience:
  • Experience managing psychiatric medications in outpatient settings
  • Familiarity with ketamine or Spravato therapy for treatment-resistant depression
  • Knowledge of trauma-informed and patient-centered care models
Work Environment:
  • Flexible schedule with the option of part-time or full-time
