Are you a skilled and compassionate Physician Assistant (PA) looking for a new opportunity? We are seeking a highly motivated individual that has a “go getter” attitude to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with our physician and nurse practitioners at The Fertility Center of Oregon, a part of Women’s Care, providing a vital service to our community.
About the Role:
This is a full-time opportunity working on-site at our Country Club Road location in Eugene, Oregon with an expectation of 40hrs per week. We offer attractive pay and a great benefits package.
What will you do:
- Provide a high level of care that is professional, caring, and responsive to patient needs and expectations.
- Assess and document patient status through chart review, interview, and physical examination.
- Provide medical care and consultation through collaboration, coordination, and referral services.
- Formulate and document health care plans with participation from patient, physician, and other health care professionals.
- Complete new patient consultations and develop treatment plans with the physician.
- Promote wellness using education, counseling, and written materials.
- Educate the patient in health maintenance, family building, and compliance with treatment plans.
Requirements:
What do you need to bring to the role:
- Active Physician Assistant license in the state of Oregon with prescriptive privileges.
- Ability and willingness to learn and perform clinical procedures such as D&E’s, trial transfer, and hysteroscopies in a clinical procedure room.
- First Assist in surgery experience is preferred.
- Previous experience in women’s health, gynecology, and/or obstetrics is preferred.
- Current BLS or ACLS certification.
