Nurse Practitioner Job Description
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our busy pain management practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, conducting diagnostic evaluations, and implementing treatment plans. This role requires a strong understanding of various medical conditions and the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive health assessments and diagnostic evaluations for patients.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including medication management and therapy.
- Provide radiation therapy as needed for patients requiring such treatment.
- Provide specialized care for senior patients, addressing their unique health needs.
- Utilize ICD-9 coding for accurate documentation of patient diagnoses and treatments.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate home care services and durable medical equipment (DME) needs for patients.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of anatomy and physiology to ensure effective patient care.
Requirements
- Current Nurse Practitioner certification and state licensure.
- Strong skills in diagnostic evaluation, radiation therapy, addiction counseling, family planning, senior care, and home care practices.
- Proficiency in ICD-9 coding and documentation standards.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients from diverse backgrounds.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $120,885.00 – $130,444.00 per year
