**Position Overview: Oncology Nurse Practitioner**
- **Specialty**: Oncology Nurse Practitioner
- **Contract Duration**: Immediate start for 6 months, with the possibility of extension

– **Primary Responsibilities**: Focus on follow-up care for established patients at 3, 6, and 12-month intervals. Duties include coordinating communications with ancillary services, ordering oncology-related diagnostics, and managing prescription refills. Follow-ups will primarily involve patients currently on treatment (pending candidate qualifications). –
**Work Schedule**: 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM, with a 4-day workweek (10-hour shifts). Flexibility in scheduling is preferred.
- **Call Duties**: No call responsibilities associated with this position.
- **Patient Volume**: Anticipated daily patient load of approximately 20, with additional responsibilities in email management and follow-up communications.
- **Support Team**: Nurse Practitioners will be supported by Medical Assistants and Case Managers for comprehensive care coordination.
- **Electronic Medical Record System**: EPIC
- **Required Certifications**: Candidate must be a Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner.
- **Credentialing Timeline**: Estimated 45-60 days from submission of application.
- **Licensing Considerations**: Candidates must be eligible for both Oregon and Washington licenses and DEA registration for both states.
