Position Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Physician Assistant (PA) to join our team at Tulsa Cardiovascular Center of Excellence. In this role, you will provide high-quality medical care to patients in an outpatient setting, collaborating closely with physicians and other healthcare providers. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history, physical examinations, and diagnostic tests.
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians.
- Educate patients and their families about health management, treatment options, and preventive care.
- Monitor and follow up on patients’ progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Assist in the coordination of patient care, including referrals to specialists and follow-up appointments.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Stay current with medical practices, procedures, and advancements through continuing education.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
- Current PA license in Oklahoma.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on patient care.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Work Environment:
- Outpatient office setting with a focus on Cardiovascular Care.
- Monday – Friday, No Call, No weekend.
