Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled UC/ER Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings, with a strong background in emergency medicine and health coaching. This role requires a compassionate approach to patient care, the ability to work collaboratively with medical staff, and a commitment to improving patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including physical examinations and medical histories.
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Provide care for patients in various settings, including inpatient, outpatient, and emergency medicine.
- Administer IV infusions and manage medication therapies as needed.
- Monitor patients’ progress and adjust treatment plans based on their responses.
- Perform procedures such as dialysis and inhalation therapy when necessary.
- Document all patient interactions accurately in electronic health records (EHR).
- Educate patients on health management strategies and provide health coaching to promote wellness.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care strategies.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
- Current certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
- Valid state licensure to practice as a Physician Assistant.
- Experience in inpatient care, MDS (Minimum Data Set), PICU (Pediatric Intensive Care Unit), or occupational health is preferred.
- Strong clinical skills with the ability to work effectively under pressure in emergency situations.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on patient education.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.

Pay: $168,480.00 per year
