Job OverviewJoin our ELITE RAPID DEPLOYMENT TEAM Traveling Wound Care Nurse Practitioner/Physician’s Assistant. We are a leader in the development and management of comprehensive wound healing with industry-leading technology with the opportunity to explore different regions across the United States. We are looking for top talent of this field who are dedicated to excellence and diligence in their daily workflow with strong antilytic and problem-solving skills with a valid unrestricted driver’s license. This position involves planning, directing, and evaluation residents in senior living facilities and in-home wound care. The selected candidate will diagnosis and treat various wound types, conduct specific lab tests, offer referrals, and execute bedside procedures in alignment with their expertise and available equipment. Collaboration with internal and external medical partners is essential for comprehensive care and treatment of in-home and facility-based patients. 100% travel with this job.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely perform wound debridement’s using sharp, enzymatic, autolytic, or surgical methods at the patient’s location.
- Apply and manage topical wound care and related wound management products.
- Direct and recommend associated services to enhance wound healing outcomes, including labs, radiologic tests, vascular tests, referrals, and more.
- Interpret diagnostic tests and suggest suitable follow-ups.
- Prescribe necessary medications, Durable Medical Equipment (DME), or supplies, aligned with the supervising physician’s collaborative agreement.
- Conduct risk assessments for Diabetic Foot Ulcers in diabetic patients as per ADA guidelines.
- Educate patients about wound management and ensure referring physicians are updated on the latest wound care practices.
- Act as a resource for health-related decision-making, planning, and policy creation.
- Collaborate with staff to determine resident needs and develop strategies to address them.
- Ensure regular skin sweeps on a quarterly basis.
- Provide services at various Senior Living Facilities, as well as in-home patients within the scheduled plan.
- Handle other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Successful completion of an accredited nurse practitioner program.
- State-approved Board of Nursing authorization to perform medical tasks.
- Active, unrestrictive state APRN license.
- Registered nurse license in the state.
- Master’s degree in nursing.
- Or Licensed Physician Assistant
- Wound Care Certified
- Unrestricted Driver’s License

Physical Demands:
- Ability to stand/walk for over 4 hours.

Work Environment:
- Potential exposure to indoor/outdoor environmental challenges, blood borne pathogens, physical (e.g., needle pricks) and chemical hazards.
- Service provision at various facilities and in patients homes.
Compensation and Benefits:
- WILL PAY ALL RELOCATION COSTS
- WILL PAY TO DUAL LICENSE
- Salary: $60.00 – $65.00 per hour
- Daytime schedule Monday to Friday
- No Weekends
