OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Emergency Medicine PA to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing immediate medical care to patients in emergency situations. You will work in a fast-paced environment, utilizing your expertise to assess, diagnose, and treat a wide range of conditions. Your ability to make quick decisions and provide high-quality care will be essential in ensuring positive patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients presenting with acute medical conditions or injuries.
- Perform necessary procedures, including IV infusions and phlebotomy, as required.
- Utilize telehealth services to provide remote consultations when appropriate.
- Triage patients effectively to prioritize care based on severity of conditions.
- Administer treatments such as Botulinum toxin therapy and manage geriatric patients with specific needs.
- Maintain accurate patient records using Cerner and ensure compliance with ICD-10 coding standards.
- Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Stay updated on advancements in emergency medicine and participate in ongoing professional development.
Skills
- Proficient in emergency medical procedures, including ventilating patients and performing triage.
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy to inform diagnostic processes.
- Experience with electronic health record systems, particularly Cerner.
- Familiarity with geriatric care principles and practices.
- Ability to perform IV infusions and phlebotomy efficiently.
- Knowledge of telehealth technologies and their application in emergency medicine.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare teams.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract
Pay: $110.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
