Full Job Description
We seek a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to fill a 3-5 days a week position in our private practice. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and skilled individual to grow. The successful candidate will be motivated, outgoing, compassionate and have excellent communication skills. A strong background in pediatrics is necessary for this position, as well as the ability to perform routine medical screenings and prescribe medication.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and treat a wide variety of common pediatric illnesses in children up to eighteen years old.
- Examine and evaluate a child in a variety of situations (e.g. school, home, hospital, clinic); order and interpret diagnostic studies (e.g. blood tests) if necessary.
- Create individualized treatment plans for the health problems of pediatric patients; evaluate effectiveness of treatment.
- Serve as an advocate for patients; provide information on community resources; follow-up with patients who are not in the clinic.
- Participate in the development of clinical practice guidelines, protocols, etc.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $100,000.00 – $120,000.00 per year
