Full Job Description
We seek a Pediatric Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to fill a part-time or full-time position in our private practice. The successful candidate will have pediatric experience, superb people skills, and an interest in Integrative Medicine.
A strong background in pediatrics is necessary for this position, as well as the ability to perform routine medical screenings and prescribe medication.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and treat a wide variety of common pediatric illnesses in children up to eighteen years old.
- Examine and evaluate a child in a variety of situations (e.g. school, home, hospital, clinic); order and interpret diagnostic studies (e.g. blood tests) if necessary.
- Create individualized treatment plans for pediatric patients’ health problems; evaluate treatment effectiveness.
- Serve as an advocate for patients, providing information on community resources, and follow up with patients who are not in the clinic.
- Participate in the development of clinical practice guidelines, protocols, etc.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $115,000.00 – $130,000.00 per year
