Job SummaryWe are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Insurance Coordinator Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will support the insurance and billing processes by verifying patient coverage, assisting with medical records management, and assisting with contacting and obtaining prior authorizations for treatments. No experience is required, we will train you. This job will require you to be good with computers and speaking on the phone.
Duties
- Assist with insurance verification for a variety of pain management procedures and radiological studies.
- Support the processing of medical records requests while maintaining strict HIPAA confidentiality standards
- Help manage patient appointments, scheduling, and follow-up communications to ensure smooth office flow
- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure proper documentation and billing procedures are followed
- Maintain organized records of insurance claims, authorizations, and patient information
- Support the team with office tasks such as data entry, filing, and preparing reports related to managed care activities
