As a leading provider of nursing assistant education, we are seeking a passionate and experienced Nursing Assistant Instructor to join our team and contribute to the growth and success of our students.
Want to work in a low stress environment? We are currently in need of LPN/RNs to teach our CNA and CMA (Medication Aide) classes in Edmond on Monday to Wednesday classes. Some nights and Saturdays PRN are also possible if desired. This would typically be up to around 12 hours each week.
Monday-Wednesday 5:30pm-9:30pm
1-2 years experience as a Nurse preferred, and must have an active nursing license in the State of Oklahoma.
Position Overview:
As a Nursing Assistant Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive training and education to our students, preparing them for successful careers as certified nursing assistants (CNAs). You will have the opportunity to shape the next generation of nursing professionals by providing them with the necessary theoretical knowledge and practical skills. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of aspiring healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver instructional materials, lesson, and hands-on training sessions to students.
- Teach and facilitate classroom discussions, demonstrations, and interactive activities to enhance students’ understanding of nursing assistant concepts and techniques.
- Provide guidance and support to students in their learning journey, addressing their questions and concerns to ensure a positive and productive learning environment.
- Supervise and assess students’ performance during practical training sessions, ensuring compliance with State standards.
- Conduct evaluations and assessments to measure students’ progress, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary interventions.
- Collaborate with the education team to develop and refine program policies, procedures, and curriculum content to help ongoing improvements to the program.
- Complete and maintain required State Department of Health records ensuring requirements are met.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment that promotes respect, collaboration, and student engagement.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Current RN or LPN license in the state of Oklahoma.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students effectively.
- Organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Proficiency in using technology and instructional tools to enhance teaching and learning experiences.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $30.00 per hour
