Physician Assistant – Dr. Mark Gittins

Full-Time

Job Summary:

OrthoNeuro is seeking a Physician Assistant for Dr. Mark Gittins in the New Albany and Pickerington areas. Dr. Gittins is a board-certified, fellowship-trained Orthopedic Surgeon with extensive experience in outpatient joint reconstruction, including robotic-assisted knee joint replacement. As an OrthoNeuro Physician Assistant reporting directly to Dr. Gittins, you will participate in all aspects of patient care and will be expected to perform the duties described below.

Job Duties:

  • Managing patients while in clinic
  • First Assist to Dr. Gittins in surgery
  • Participate in hospital rounding
  • Order physical therapy, MRI, injections as necessary
  • Handle clinical phone calls and after-hours call
  • Complete medication requests
  • Complete documentation of care and services provided

Job Requirements:

  • Ohio license and prescriptive (DEA) license required
  • Previous orthopedic experience preferred
