ProMedica Physicians Neurology is recruiting a motivated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Neuro Critical Care team in Toledo, Ohio.

Job Description:

The Advanced Practice Provider in Neurocritical Care works closely with our neurointensivists and a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality, compassionate care to patients with high acuity neurologic conditions. This role includes assisting in procedures, managing acute and follow up care for patients in the Neurological ICU, ordering tests and labs, and assisting in the coordination of care with other service lines.

  • Full-time position
  • 40-hour work week
  • Weekend rotation is TBD
  • Holiday rotation
  • Work with 2 Board Certified Physicians
  • May assist with Telemedicine and/or office visits
  • Inpatient rounding at Toledo Hospital
  • Epic EMR

  • Current CPR certification required.
  • Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated excellent organizational skills.

  • Must demonstrate and promote a strong commitment toward achieving customer/patient satisfaction.

Nurse Practitioner

  • Master of Nursing (MSN) degree
  • Must be licensed or license eligible in the state of Ohio

Physician Assistant

  • Master’s degree
  • Must be licensed or license eligible in the state of Ohio
  • PA-C
