Position Summary
This role involves direct patient care, administrating assessments, safety monitoring, and heavy collaboration with team members.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Duties
- Supports the Principal Investigator (PI) in the conduct of clinical research trials
- Conduct thorough patient histories, physical examinations, and health assessments
- Document patient encounters accurately and maintain compliance with legal, regulatory, and organizational standards
- Perform study visits
- Evaluate participant eligibility
- Provide ongoing medical oversight and clinical care to research participants
- Ensure participant safety and welfare throughout study participation
Collaboration & Communication
- Work closely with the PI, study coordinators, and other research staff
- Communicate clinically relevant findings to the PI and study team
- Collaborate with various stakeholders
- Participate in investigator meetings, study trainings, and protocol reviews
Qualifications
Required
- 5 years of experience in a clinical setting. Previous research experience is not a requirement
- Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Clinical experience in Family Medicine, with exposure to neurology and/or psychiatry
- Strong understanding of patient safety and clinical documentation

Work Environment
- Independent clinical research site
- May involve standing, patient examinations, and occasional extended hours based on study needs
Pay Commensurate with Experience
Pay: From $90,000.00 per year
