Pay Range: $130,700.00-$215,800.00 Company Overview:

Job Description:

Role Overview:
Join our Symptom Care Clinic as an Advanced Practice Provider (Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner) and play a key role in delivering comprehensive, compassionate care to patients with acute or urgent oncological symptoms! You’ll be at the forefront of implementing and evaluating standards of care, addressing both the medical and psychosocial needs of our patients. This role offers a unique opportunity to be involved in cutting-edge research that shapes evidence-based care, all while working in a dynamic environment that extends the hospital’s urgent care services to oncology patients. Key Qualifications:
  • Graduate from an accredited PA program
  • NCCPA certification
  • Active NY & NJ licenses or willing/eligible to obtain both
  • BLS / ACLS certified

OR

  • Active NY & NJ Advanced Practice Nursing licenses/registrations or willing/eligible to obtain both
  • Nurse Practitioner MS Degree, prescriptive privileges (or eligibility)
  • BLS / ACLS certified
Core Skills:
  • Driven to apply creative approaches to promote and expand MSK’s regional Symptom Care Clinic (SCC) and Urgent Care Center (UCC) programs.
  • Skilled at planning and prioritizing tasks to meet commitments that align with organizational goals, ensuring efficient and effective care delivery.
  • Effective at engaging and gaining the support and dedication of others by clearly communicating your vision, priorities, and strategies.
  • Maintains flexibility in approach and demeanor to navigate and respond to the shifting demands of evolving circumstances.
  • Proficient in delivering comprehensive care, including performing invasive procedures (e.g., paracentesis), to medical-surgical oncology patients with urgent or acute symptoms.
  • Experienced in leading medical emergency response teams and collaborating effectively with primary teams and other healthcare members to provide coordinated care.
  • Provides support to patients in infusion, radiology, and radiation oncology during evening hours and weekends, addressing acute or urgent symptoms with expertise and compassion.
Additional Information:
Location: BSK / Monmouth and occasional travel to Bergen
Hours: 8 am start. 13 hour shifts. – Monday-Friday including weekends & holidays
Pay Range: 144k-182k
