?????Education/Experience:
- Must be a graduate of an AAPA-accredited school with current licensure to practice in the state of Ohio (and Kentucky if the job duties require).
- Desire a minimum of five years of experience in an acute health care setting.
- Active authority to prescribe required

Essential Functions:
- Help develop and maintain a corporate culture that supports the mission and values of Mayfield Clinic.

Meet post-operative and non-operative medical management patients in the office and assess their condition; establish and maintain treatment plans; dictate chart notes.

Act as a liaison between physician and patient by providing the patient with instruction from the physician, advising the physician of the patient’s needs, and assuring that the physician is available to the patient whenever necessary, in person or by telephone.

Serve as first assistant in surgery when indicated.

Document all patient interactions promptly and thoroughly into the patient’s medical record. Maintain the internal order and arrangement of the patient’s medical record, including a record of phone calls, changes in prescriptions, etc.

Perform clinical rounds on inpatients and collaborate with the appropriate medical staff to meet patient needs. Take call as requested.
