Full Job Description
Immediate opportunity available for a PRN / Resource Physician Assistant position for a GI Practice located in Dayton, Ohio.
Our Physician Assistants work with a team of APP and supervisory /collaborating physicians to provide quality care and clinical management of patients within the office and at Kettering Health Network and Premier Health.
Responsibilities:
Interviewing and examining patients in the hospital setting.
Initiating appropriate workups
Interpreting labs and imaging results
Creating a proper treatment plan
The PA will also be expected to assist with rounds on patients, complete work up and appropriately disposition patients based on the findings.
Education requirements:
Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program (MPAS, MHS or MMS)
Must have and maintain a PA certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician’s Assistants ( NCCPA)
Current Ohio licensure and BLS/CPR certification is required.
Certificate to prescribe must be current and always maintained.
Excellent communications skills with both patients and colleagues are essential.
Electronic Medical Records experience is an advantage.

Schedule:
- 6 hour shifts
- Day shift
- Weekends (Saturday and Sunday and Holidays).
License/Certification:
- Physician Assistant License (Required)
Work Location: Hospital – Travel Required.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $60.00 per hour
Expected hours: .01 – 12 per week
