Columbus Cardiovascular Associates, one of the few remaining independent cardiac practices, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated physician assistant or nurse practitioner to join our team. You will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to our patients, in both outpatient and inpatient settings, contributing to the diagnosis and management of various cardiovascular conditions. Responsibilities include all aspects of patient care, including diagnosis, treatment and consultations.
- Prescribe medication
- Examine patients, diagnose cardiac conditions and provide treatment
- Order, interpret and evaluate diagnostic testing, including EKGs, echocardiograms, stress testing, holters, and event monitoring
- Develop and implement treatment plans
- Educate on cardiac health, lifestyle modification and self management strategies
- dictate and document patient encounters
- Notify physician of unusual or unexpected events or problems
- Effectively communicate with patients, physician and team
- Cardiac device experience a plus
Must hold a current Ohio license and DEA. Previous, basic cardiology experience required. Competitive salary plus bonus opportunity. Package includes 4 weeks vacation, 7 paid holidays, health, dental, vision, life, short-term disability and 401K.
