Medical Assistant – Interventional Pain Management

Are you an experienced, compassionate Medical Assistant who thrives in a fast‑paced specialty setting? Pain Zero, LLC provides high‑quality, patient‑centered interventional pain care across the Columbus area, and we’re looking for a confident MA who’s ready to grow with an innovative and supportive practice.

About the Role

This position blends hands‑on clinical responsibilities with essential administrative support. You’ll work closely with one provider and collaborate with our Lead Medical Assistant to ensure smooth, efficient clinic operations.

  • Primary work location: This is a multi‑site position; team members rotate between Pain Zero clinic locations as needed to support daily operations and ensure coverage across Westerville, Grove City, and New Albany.
  • Onboarding location: New Albany office

You’ll build meaningful patient relationships while contributing to a procedure‑focused specialty environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare patients for visits, obtain vitals, and assist with in‑office procedures
  • Manage clinical documentation and support efficient daily workflow
  • Complete patient chart prep and UDS collections
  • Handle clinical check‑ins and visit readiness
  • Process medication prior authorizations
  • Manage incoming and outgoing clinical referrals
  • Assist with pre‑op and post‑op patient care
  • Maintain accurate EMR documentation and task management
  • Keep clinical spaces clean, organized, and compliant

Schedule & Setting

  • Schedule may vary based on clinic needs
  • May follow either four 10‑hour shifts or five 8‑hour shifts
  • Outpatient, in‑person clinical environment

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking a Medical Assistant who brings professionalism, maturity, and strong clinical judgment.

  • 2–3 years of MA experience in a specialty or high‑volume setting
  • Background in pain management, orthopedics, neurology, urgent care, or similar specialties preferred
  • Confident assisting with procedures
  • Strong communication, organization, and adaptability
  • Ability to anticipate provider needs
  • BLS certification and CMA credentials
  • Reliable transportation to Columbus, OH
  • Flexibility to support multiple clinic locations when needed

Pay: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour
