Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history review, physical examinations, and gait analysis to determine foot and ankle conditions.
- Develop personalized treatment plans incorporating conservative therapies such as orthotics, wound care, and medication management.
- Perform minor surgical procedures including toenail removals, biopsies, and wound debridement with precision and adherence to aseptic techniques.
- Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems to document patient encounters accurately and efficiently.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including radiology for medical imaging interpretation and specialists such as endocrinologists or orthopedists for comprehensive care.
- Provide patient education on foot health, injury prevention, and post-treatment care to promote long-term wellness.
- Stay current with advancements in podiatric medicine by engaging in clinical research and continuing education opportunities.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid state licensure or certification to practice podiatry.
- Demonstrated experience with EHR systems such as Epic or similar platforms.
- Knowledge of medical imaging techniques relevant to foot and ankle diagnostics.
- Proficiency in performing minor surgical procedures and wound management.
- Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics related to podiatric health.

- ABPM or ABFAS certification
Pay: $55,000.00 – $65,000.00 per year
