We are a telemedicine startup with a local presence in NY, in Rockland County.
We are a different work environment than many typical medical practices, we see 80% of our patients remotely and use remote monitoring tools to help make lifestyle changes and medicine easy for patients.
Our mission is to reverse type 2 diabetes and obesity in as many patients as possible.
Our practice has published several studies documenting our massive improvements in blood sugar levels, weight loss and blood pressure.
Your job will fulfill duties of a medical assistant and a medical scribe.
We are ONLY interested in longterm positions with staff members who want to grow and be a part of an amazing medical team.
Duties:
- Communicate closely with patients
- Perform finger sticks, blood pressure, vitals, EKG, spirometry
- Perform a full medical history, medication reconciliation
- Engage with patients, help them make lifestyle changes
- Engage with patients about their remotely monitored data
- See urgent, sick visits
- Adult medicine mostly, pediatric experience plus
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $70.00 – $90.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 – 12 per week
