**About the role**
Victory Recovery Partners is hiring a full-time
**Physician Assistant or Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner**
to join our team in
**Shirley, NY.**
**We’re also hiring for this role across Long Island:**
Hauppauge, Massapequa Park, Shirley, Hempstead, Hicksville, and Farmingville.

This is a
**hybrid position**
working with patients ages 11 and up.
As part of Victory’s clinical treatment team, you’ll collaborate with clinical and behavioral health professionals to provide psychiatric services, coordinate patient care, and support patients throughout treatment.
**Compensation**
Base pay is
**$156,000–$200,000 per year**
, plus a competitive bonus structure.

**Responsibilities**
→ Conduct one-on-one psychiatric evaluations with patients
→ Diagnose and treat patients with mental illnesses contributing to or causing substance use disorders
→ Provide education to patients and their families
→ Conduct one-on-one medication management sessions
→ Coordinate patient care with clinical and behavioral health staff, including attending case conference meetings
→ Conduct group therapy sessions on topics including medication education, addiction and the brain, and co-occurring disorders
→ Work as part of Victory’s clinical treatment team to plan services, set goals, and monitor patient progress
**Qualifications**
Candidates must have:
→ An active
**DEA license**
→ Completed a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program
→ Demonstrated interest in behavioral health treatment for substance use disorders
→ Proficiency in clinical documentation and coding
→ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
→ A positive attitude and team-oriented approach
→ Strong references
