North Shore Relationship Center is a growing, collaborative group practice dedicated to providing high-quality, relationship-focused mental health care. We specialize in individual, couples, and family therapy and value an integrative, compassionate approach to treatment.
We are currently seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP), Physician Assistant or Psychiatrist to join our team and provide psychiatric evaluation and medication management for clients ages 5 and up. This role will involve splitting time between our Amityville and Port Jefferson locations.
Position Overview
- Provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and ongoing treatment planning
- Collaborate closely with therapists providing individual, couples, and family therapy. Serve a diverse client population including children, adolescents, and adults
- Maintain timely and thorough clinical documentation
- Participate in a supportive, team-oriented group practice environment
Schedule & Location Flexible scheduling options available (full-time or part-time)
Qualifications
- Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) or Psychiatrist or Physician Assistant in New York State
- Experience treating children and adolescents strongly preferred
- Interest or experience working alongside couples and family therapists is a plus
- Strong communication skills and collaborative mindset
- DEA registration and prescriptive authority (or ability to obtain)
Compensation $80/hour.
Practice covers administrative support, scheduling, billing, and marketing
