Physician Assistant – Neighborhood Health Center – MSMH
Mount St. Mary’s Hospital in Lewiston, New York is looking for a Physician Assistant for their Neighborhood Health Center. This candidate is a dependent health care provider who, working collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary health team, is responsible for providing comprehensive care to patients by assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating care. Participates in patient and family teaching. All duties and responsibilities must be accomplished with the guidelines of the established protocols and in accordance with the Physician Written Practice Agreement as required by New York State.

EDUCATION – PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT
- Graduate of an approved NCCPA (National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and CAHEA accredited Physician Assistant training program (Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the AMA).
· Valid certification by the NCCPA as developed by the National Board of Examiners.
EXPERIENCE
· One year of recent experience as a Physician Assistant preferred.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY
- Ability to prioritize and establish work standards and business goals.
- Ability to relate to patients, their families, and other members of the healthcare team in a professional manner.
- Knowledge of and the ability to apply professional medical principles, procedures and techniques.
- Excellent verbal and written interpersonal communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities in a stressful situation.
- Solid EMR and Computer skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45.40 – $68.10 per hour
