We are an independent outpatient Radiology group in New York City

We are looking to hire a full-time Radiology Physician Assistant. You will play a vital role in delivering exceptional imaging and diagnostic services.

You will utilize your advanced clinical skills to perform assessments, assist with procedures, and ensure accurate documentation—all while contributing to a patient-centered environment that emphasizes quality, safety, and innovation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments including intake, vital signs, and physical examinations to support diagnostic imaging procedures.
• Execute routine interventional radiology procedures including: port-a-cath placement, permcath placement, paracentesis, certain biopsies and drainages, IVC filter placement/retrievals
• Execute diagnostic imaging procedures including: ultrasounds, X-Rays including fluoroscopy, under supervision of the Radiologist
• Administer IV placement and PRT access for contrast administration
• Provide direct supervision for the IV administration of contrast media
• Assist Radiologists with more interventional radiology or nuclear medicine procedures if needed
• Interpret diagnostic test results and collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop appropriate treatment plans.
• Contribute to discharge planning and follow-up care coordination for outpatient radiology patients.

Skills

• 1+ year of working experience as a Physician Assistant, preferably in Radiology, though other specialities will be considered.
• NYS licensure and NCCPA certification required
• Knowledge of X-Ray machines, MRI scanner, ultrasound machine, CT scanner required
• Working knowledge of medical imaging modalities required
• Familiarity RIS/PACS computer system, or equivalent, required
• Ability to collaborate seamlessly with healthcare professionals across disciplines while adhering to collaborative practice agreements and HIPAA standards.
• CBRPA certificate preferred

Pay: $135,000.00 – $160,000.00 per year
