<Job Overview>Join our dynamic Vascular team as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician’s Assistant, where your expertise will empower patients across diverse settings. <Responsibilities>

  • Conduct thorough physical examinations and patient assessments across various age groups, including pediatrics, geriatrics, and adult populations.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring alignment with best practices and current clinical guidelines.
  • Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic, Cerner, or eClinicalWorks to document patient encounters accurately and efficiently.
  • Perform diagnostic evaluations using laboratory tests, sonography, medical imaging, and specimen collection/processing techniques.
  • Provide telehealth consultations to expand access to care while maintaining HIPAA compliance and high standards of patient privacy.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on discharge planning, case management, and utilization review to optimize patient care pathways.

<Skills>

  • Extensive experience with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, Athenahealth, Cerner, or eClinicalWorks for efficient documentation.
  • Diagnose and manage vascular conditions under physician supervision.
  • Knowledge of CPT coding (Current Procedural Terminology), ICD-9/10 coding systems for accurate medical documentation and billing.
  • Experience working with diverse populations such as assisted living residents, individuals with developmental disabilities or dementia care needs.
  • Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy knowledge, physiology principles, and diagnostic evaluation methods.
