POSITION SUMMARY:

This position is directly responsible to the guest service manager for the execution and management of all aspects of day to day operations. Including but not limited to: the guest experience, reservation book, phone, email and text communication, financial transactions, retail sales and inventory, overseeing the mechanical and technical equipment in the salon, supporting service providers to stay on schedule and answering general enquiries about the company, its products and services.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Present a positive and professional attitude towards the company, its products, guests and all staff at all times.
  • Greet all guests with a sincere welcome and ensure that they are comfortable before beginning their service
  • Check on the status of the guests service appointments and communicate any changes.
  • Communicate with stylists when guests arrive and keep them informed of any schedule changes.
  • Managing inventory counts, receiving orders and restocking supplies.
  • Observe stylists during the service remaining ready to offer assistance.
  • Support the stylist to stay on schedule by anticipating their next guest or service.
  • Work together with all team members to maintain a clean work environment.
  • Maintain sanitation logs to support a clean work environment; following the latest guidelines provided by the City and State of New York.
  • Keep the entire salon clean, organized and uncluttered, including front desk, retail area, dressing rooms, restrooms, sinks, back-bar and dispensary.
  • Manage that the guest experience is relaxing and enjoyable by giving them your complete attention.
  • Consult with every guest thoroughly to be sure we provide the best quality service possible.
  • Booking guest appointment, confirming staff member, date, time, service and location.
  • Work together with all team members to accommodate the Guest experience.
  • Opening and salon, time and attendance, registers, staff and guest schedules and salon mechanicals
  • Closing the day, time and attendance, balancing registers, securing deposits and the facility.
  • Reporting and resolving when possible any challenges with mechanicals in the salon, including but not limited to phones, internet, work stations, HVAC and hot water.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 – $19.00 per hour
