Full Job Description
Overview
Small midtown law firm located near Grand Central Terminal seeks an attorney for our commercial Litigation practice. Must have a minimum of one (1) to three (3) years litigation experience including court appearances, etc. Should also be interested in learning about and participating in commercial Real Estate transactions. Must have a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school with a New York bar admission in good standing.
Must be able to prepare various litigation documents including Summons and Complaints, Discovery documents, Motions, etc.
Qualifications
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school; admission to the NY State bar is required.
Minimum of one to three years exprience in litigation
Experience in legal research using Lexis Nexis
Excellent legal writing skills
Must have experience in Court appearances, arguing motions, etc.
Trial experience a plus
Pay: $100,000.00 – $150,000.00 per year
