Cutchins Cardiovascular Medicine is seeking a highly motivated and intellectually curious Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our growing, specialized practice. We provide advanced diagnostic and therapeutic care for patients with complex and often underdiagnosed conditions, including Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS), Mast Cell Activation Syndrome (MCAS), dysautonomia, and elevated intracranial pressure syndromes.

This is a fast-paced, high-acuity clinical environment that requires critical thinking, adaptability, and a genuine passion for patient-centered care.

Position Overview

The Advanced Practice Provider will work closely with Dr. Alexis Cutchins to evaluate, manage, and treat medically complex patients. This role also includes participation in infusion-based therapies, making prior infusion clinic experience—or strong familiarity with infusion workflows—a valuable asset.

We welcome both experienced providers and new graduates who demonstrate strong clinical potential, curiosity, and a commitment to mastering advanced concepts in cardiovascular and autonomic medicine.

Key Responsibilities

· Perform comprehensive patient evaluations, including detailed history and physical examinations

· Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians

· Manage patients with complex cardiovascular and autonomic disorders

· Participate in and oversee infusion therapies, including patient monitoring and protocol adherence

· Interpret diagnostic testing and contribute to clinical decision-making

· Educate patients on their conditions and treatment plans

· Maintain accurate, thorough, and timely documentation

Qualifications

· Licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) in New York (or eligibility for licensure)

· Strong interest in cardiovascular medicine, autonomic disorders, and complex chronic illness

· Experience in an infusion clinic setting or familiarity with infusion therapy protocols preferred

· Excellent clinical judgment, communication skills, and attention to detail

· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving clinical environment

· A mindset grounded in curiosity, continuous learning, and compassionate care

Pay: $105,000.00 – $185,000.00 per year
