Overview
Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Physician Assistant, a vital role dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care across diverse medical settings. In this position, you will collaborate closely with physicians and healthcare professionals to assess, diagnose, and treat patients while ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards. Duties

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments including physical examinations, vital signs, and medical history intake to establish accurate diagnoses.
  • Assist in or perform diagnostic evaluations utilizing medical imaging, laboratory tests, and other clinical procedures.
  • Administer medications and injections such as botulinum toxin treatments and dermal fillers, following proper aseptic techniques.
  • Manage acute pain cases, airway management, ventilator support, and critical care interventions in hospital or ICU settings.
  • Document patient encounters accurately using EMR systems like Epic or eClinicalWorks, ensuring HIPAA compliance and proper ICD coding.
  • Participate in clinical research trials and data collection efforts to advance medical knowledge and improve patient outcomes.
  • Provide patient education on health coaching, medication management, discharge planning, and preventive care strategies.

Qualifications

  • Valid Physician Assistant license with current certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
  • Demonstrated hospital experience in emergency medicine, critical care, or Level I/II trauma centers preferred.
  • Proficiency with EMR systems such as Cerner or Epic; telehealth experience is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and diagnostic evaluation techniques.
  • Experience performing procedures including suturing, phlebotomy, spinal taps, dermabrasion, and DME management.
  • Familiarity with CPT coding for billing purposes; understanding of ICD-10/ICD-9 coding standards.
  • Ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments such as ICU or neonatal units while maintaining excellent patient care standards.
  • Excellent communication skills for triage assessments, interdisciplinary collaboration, and patient education. Pay: $130,000.00 – $160,000.00 per year
