Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Physician Assistant – Certified or Nurse Practitioner to join our dynamic healthcare team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to deliver comprehensive patient care across diverse clinical settings, including acute, chronic, and preventive care. Duties

  • Conduct thorough examinations and assessments of patients to diagnose medical conditions.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
  • Collaborate with specialists and other healthcare providers to coordinate comprehensive care.
  • Provide telehealth services to enhance patient accessibility.
  • Educate patients about health management, disease prevention, and wellness strategies.
  • Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with regulations and standards.
  • Adhere to infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Current/valid New York State Physician Assistant (PA) / Nurse Practitioner license
  • Currently registered as a registered professional Physician Assistant in good standing
  • DEA license
  • Hold all requirements indicated by the NY Department of Drug and Alcohol Program to perform history and physicals and prescribe medications.
  • Current basic life support for health providers (BLS)

SKILLS:

  • Computer skills
  • Strong written and interpersonal communications skills
  • Knowledge of computer-based data management programs and information systems, as well as medical records and point-of-interview technology

  • Decision-making and problem-solving skills

Pay: From $65.00 per hour
