Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physician Assistant (PA) to join our growing healthcare team. In this role, you will provide high-quality patient care across a variety of clinical settings, including outpatient clinics, hospitals, and specialty practices. Working collaboratively with physicians and multidisciplinary teams, you will evaluate, diagnose, treat, and manage patients with diverse medical conditions while delivering exceptional, evidence-based care. Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient evaluations, including medical histories, physical examinations, and assessment of vital signs.
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions while developing individualized treatment plans.
- Prescribe medications and perform procedures such as suturing, wound care, injections, incision and drainage, and other office-based interventions within scope of practice.
- Order, interpret, and evaluate laboratory tests, diagnostic imaging, and other clinical studies.
- Provide care in outpatient, inpatient, urgent care, emergency, and hospital settings as assigned.
- Assist with critical care management, including airway stabilization, ventilator support, and treatment of medically complex patients when applicable.
- Collaborate closely with physicians, specialists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
- Accurately document patient encounters using electronic medical record (EMR) systems such as Epic, Cerner, or eClinicalWorks.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations, infection prevention standards, and organizational policies.
- Participate in clinical quality improvement initiatives, patient education, and research projects when appropriate.
- Assist with patient triage, follow-up care, and continuity of care across multiple healthcare settings.
Qualifications
- Current Physician Assistant license and NCCPA certification in good standing.
- Previous experience in family medicine, internal medicine, emergency medicine, hospital medicine, surgery, or other specialties preferred.
- Proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, including Epic, Cerner, or similar platforms.
- Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and critical-thinking skills.
- Experience performing common office procedures, venipuncture, IV placement, wound management, and minor surgical procedures.
- Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding, medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and evidence-based clinical practice.
- Experience in ICU, trauma, hospital medicine, urgent care, or critical care is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with telehealth services and virtual patient care is a plus.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations, infection control standards, and patient safety protocols.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, organizational, and patient education skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment while delivering compassionate, patient-centered care.

- Critical care and ventilator management
- Emergency medicine or trauma care
- Hospitalist or inpatient medicine
- Hospice and palliative care
- Infectious disease management

- Cosmetic procedures, including botulinum toxin, dermal fillers, and laser treatments
- Telemedicine and digital health platforms
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $135,000.00 – $160,000.00 per year
