Responsibilities

• Perform patient intake procedures, including collecting medical histories and recording vital signs with precision.
• Assist healthcare providers during examinations and procedures
• Support clinical workflows by preparing exam rooms, sterilizing equipment, and managing supplies efficiently.
• Operate EHR (Electronic Health Record) systems to document patient information accurately, including ICD coding for diagnoses and procedures.
• Administer medications and injections following established protocols while maintaining patient safety and comfort.
• Provide exceptional patient service by addressing questions, ensuring comfort, and maintaining confidentiality throughout the care process.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology
• Experience working in dynamic clinical settings such as urgent care, hospital medicine, or outpatient clinics
• Proficiency with EHR systems for documentation of patient encounters and ICD coding accuracy.
• Ability to perform vital signs measurement and basic life support (BLS) certification required.
• Familiarity with specialized areas including oncology
• Excellent patient service skills with a compassionate approach to diverse populations across age groups

Pay: $18.00 – $18.50 per hour
