Urology Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant

About the Role

As a Urology Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA), you’ll play a vital role in diagnosing, treating, and managing urologic conditions for patients of all ages. Working closely with our board-certified urologists, you’ll provide comprehensive outpatient care, assist with procedures, and educate patients on preventive and ongoing urologic health. This position is ideal for an advanced practice provider who thrives in a collaborative, patient-focused setting and is passionate about specialty care.

Key Responsibilities

✔️ Perform comprehensive urologic evaluations, assessments, and treatment plans ✔️ Diagnose and manage conditions such as kidney stones, UTIs, incontinence, and prostate health issues ✔️ Assist in in-office procedures and minor surgical interventions as appropriate ✔️ Educate patients on preventive care, lifestyle modifications, and ongoing treatment plans ✔️ Collaborate with urologists, medical staff, and a multidisciplinary care team to ensure optimal patient outcomes ✔️ Maintain accurate, up-to-date medical records in compliance with organizational standards ✔️ Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to best practices in urologic care

What You Need

✅ Current NP or PA certification and active North Carolina license (or eligibility) ✅ Minimum 1 year of experience in Urology, Urogynecology, or a related specialty preferred ✅ Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills in urologic conditions ✅ Excellent communication, collaboration, and patient education abilities ✅ Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented, specialty care environment
