Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner (1099 Contracted Position)
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner. The selected candidate will be responsible for assessing patients, diagnosing conditions, developing treatment plans, providing patient education, and collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals. Additional responsibilities include conducting routine physical exams, managing chronic conditions, and prescribing medications.
Qualifications
- Current, unrestricted Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner medical license in North Carolina
- Valid controlled substance registration with DEA
- Strong skills in patient assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning
- Experience in managing chronic conditions and providing preventative care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with healthcare professionals
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems
- Commitment to providing compassionate and personalized care
- 1 year experience in family medicine or primary care is preferred
