Physician Assistant Family Medicine -Wilmington, NC

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Physician Assistant to join our team in the Family Medicine team in Wilmington, NC (near Hoggard High School). As a Physician Assistant, you will be responsible for providing high-quality outpatient care to patients with a variety of acute and chronic illnesses. Outpatient visits will include preentative care, health education and diagnosis and treatement to ensure the best possible care and outcomes. Position hours are Monday-Friday 8a-5p but options are available to work 3 or 5 days per week.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Current certification as a Physician Assistant
• Current licensure as a Physician Assistant in North Carolina
• 1+ years of experience in Family Medicine treating patients of all ages required
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with electronic medical records
• Bilingual in English and Spanish

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop treatment plans in collaboration with the medical team
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and procedures
• Prescribe medications and other treatments as appropriate
• Provide patient education and counseling on disease prevention and management
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
