Job Summary

• We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatric Physican Assistant or Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our team.
• We are an experienced and respected private practice with a long history of providing psychiatric care and Christian counseling for patients in Raleigh, Wake County, the Triangle area, and throughout eastern North Carolina.
• The ideal candidate will have experience in providing comprehensive mental health care, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of psychiatric disorders.
• The Psychiatric Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner will work collaboratively with a Christian Counselors in a close knit office.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations and assessments for patients.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs in the context of a bio-psycho-socio-spiritual model.
• Provide medication management and monitor patient responses to treatments.
• Coordinate care with referring pastors, churches, counselors, and healthcare providers.
• Educate patients and families about mental health conditions and treatment options.
• Engage in continuous professional development and stay updated on best practices in psychiatric care.

Requirements

• Current North Carolina licensure as a Physician Assistant or Psychiatric or Family Nurse Practitioner
• Previous experience is preferred
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Job Type: Part-time

Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week
