Our GI practice is growing, and we’re looking for Advanced Practitioners (Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants) to support our teams in the Raleigh area and/or Wilson, North Carolina.

What You’ll Do
As a GI Advanced Practitioner, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality, compassionate care while working closely with physicians and clinical staff.
On an average day, you will:

Perform comprehensive patient assessments, histories, and physical exams

Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic and screening tests

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans

Prescribe medications and therapies in compliance with state laws and practice guidelines
-
Educate patients on conditions, treatments, and preventive care
-
Perform minor in-office procedures as appropriate
-
Coordinate care and collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams
-
Provide continuity of care, including triaging patient calls and messages
-
Document patient care accurately in the electronic medical record
-
Participate in quality improvement initiatives, peer reviews, and continuing education
What You’ll Need
-
Active Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) license
-
Current NC state licensure/authority to practice
-
Current BLS certification
-
Ability to work full-time

Strong communication and collaboration skills
New graduates are encouraged to apply. GI experience is a plus but not required.
Physical Requirements

Standing and walking for the majority of the workday

Periods of sitting, bending, and reaching

Occasional lifting up to 10 pounds

Fine motor skills and corrected vision/hearing

Occasional irregular working hours
